General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry for the accident your day has gone through.

You say he :
- is 83 years old
- on blood thinners
- had a heavy object ran unto his leg last week
- tonight his leg is still quite swollen and starting to weep

This is an emergency for his case. I highly recommend to send to emergency room.

We want to make sure that there is no broken bones or blocked blood vessels.

Raise his legs until you send him to ER. Apply cold compresses locally.
Keep good local hygiene.

Wish fast recovery.
